Our new YouTube interview/movie!

Although we love writing about our days at school sites and showing our BreatheEasy readers photos, we also know that sometimes watching a short “film” and listening to the story is very important. Sure, we can tell you about our day, but why not have the people we are helping tell the story for us [...]

Spanish speaking parents and children make up a large percentage of the patients we see. As a matter of fact, almost every parent we saw on our first day at Highland in Richmond was Spanish speaking. The areas in which the Breathmobile operates have large Latino populations, and data shows that Latino children show higher [...]

Visit to Woodrow Wilson…March 14

So many people we saw last month came to their appointments today at Woodrow Wilson Elementary…which means people are taking their follow-ups seriously. Today our Breathmobile team consisted of Dr. Piltch, Lisa our medical assistant, James (who did some translating today, Thanks James!), and Nurse Spencer. Making sure you come to your follow ups once a month is a [...]

Great first day at Bayview Hunters Point!

It was a surprisingly warm day in the city, the sun was shining on Gilman Street,  Candlestick Park was jetting out behind us …and the Breathmobile staff was buzzing with excitement. The sound of babies and toddlers laughing and cooing from FranDelJA and children laughing and starting classes across the street at Bret Harte Elementary greeted us.  After months of making arrangements, [...]
